Ballot for the eWG Chair position ending on 14th June as proposed is finally closed.
The Person nominated for Chair (by an overwhelming majority) is Yaron Kashai.

Eligible votes not cast 1
Only members voting with eligible voting rights were counted, based on current DASC membership and attendance record of 3 out of the 4 last meetings or better.

The relevant extract is below.
We should proceed with the following steps:
1. Identify a Returning Officer to run the elections, by
May 10. Done
2. Present the issue at the May 10 WG meeting Done
3. Open a nomination period of 14 days, in which nominations
will be sent to the Returning Officer Done
4. The Returning Officer shall send out an e-mail ballot to
all voting members in the WG, starting a 14 day ballot
period Done
5. The Returning officer will announce the results to the WG Done
6. The elected Chair will seek DASC approval for the Chair
and Vice Chair nominations.
