IEEE 1647 Issue Tracking System

Since we have a number of new members of the working group who may
be unfamiliar with the IEEE 1647 web site issue tracking system, I'd
like to offer a few pointers. The issue tracking system is accessed
from the mail web site, http://www.ieee1647.org/, by clicking on "Issue
Tracking" in the left column of the page. This brings you to the issue
tracking login page. Enter your email address, password and select
"eLRM" in the "Project" menu. Then, click [Submit].

From the "Issue List" page you can browse individual reports by
clicking on "View," edit your own reports from "Edit," and view
"Attachments," "Comments" and "History." A new issue report is opened
by clicking on "Add" in the upper right corner of this page.

On the "Issue Add" page, enter a descriptive title of the issue in
the free-form "Title" field. Select "Draft 1.1' from the "Version"
menu for current issues (this will increment to 1.2, 1.3, etc. for later
drafts) and enter a detailed description of issue to be addressed in the
free-form "Description" field. Please provide a document or file name
and page, section, paragraph and line number references to the text in
question in order to precisely identify what text is under discussion.
When you have completed the issue report, click on the [Submit] button
below the "Description" field.

The status of each issue proceeds from "New" to to "Analyzed" to
"Assigned to TF" to either (1) "Closed" or (2) "TF Verify fix." The
status may then iterate between "TF Verify fix" and "Update" or proceed
to "Verified and closed."

Please feel free to ask me to clarify the use of this system when
questions arise. Thanks!
