Meeting 24 - Summary
This was
an informal meeting. No official minutes were recorded.
Attendance in this meeting was not recorded and doesn't count toward
voting rights.

1. Why informal meeting
While preparing for the meeting, there were complaints on the DASC
reflector about this WGs working procedures. The chair decided not to
hold an official WG meeting while the DASC officials address the
complains. It is noted that there is no procedural requirement to
suspend WG activities in such circumstances. The decision was made
strictly in order to avoid the appearance of defiance.
At present, the complains have been dismissed and the WG continues to
function as before.
2. Updates
The following information was disclosed in the meeting:
- The IEEE project manager for the standard has prepared a proof copy
which is under review by the WG editor and the chair
- Four documents have been identified as suitable subject matter for
the next revision. The chair is working to secure technology donations
that will allow using these documents in the WG.
3. Next meeting
The next meeting is tentatively set to Tuesday October 10th at 09:00
AM
